It's spring cleaning season! Time for fresh air, getting rid of clutter, and staying organized! Organizing 101 is a series all about cleaning and maintaining those annoying areas in your house. Staying organized is easy when everything has a place to go! We'll cover places like the pantry, the linen closet, and the bedroom closet!
For the second week of Organizing 101, I'm sharing some easy tips to clear out the linen closet, keep it organized, and keep it clean!

Clear it Out!
Start with a clean slate. Clear everything out of the closet in order to really see the space that you're working with. While you're clearing the closet, organize piles of items by use. For example: bath towels, beach towels, cleaning supplies, pillows, bed linens, etc.

Group By Use
While you're cleaning out the closet, you're also going to be grouping items together by use. When you're ready to put everything back together, keep items that are used most frequently in the front. If it's the summer, keep a basket of beach towels easily accessible. If you're always having guests over, maybe your extra bed linens are in the front!

Baskets, Baskets, and more Baskets!
Baskets and bins are the quickest (and honestly the easiest) way to make your linen closet look more organized. Designate a basket for each item usage and you'll always know where everything goes. Organization is easy when every item has a place to go!
