When we moved into our apartment, I knew the bathroom was the space that we needed to take care of first! It's hard to make apartment bathrooms feel like they're actually new and clean, but we were able to transform our old and dark bathroom for under $100!

The Before

I was so excited to move in and get this bathroom done! Even though this wasn't a huge space to tackle, I think the before and after pictures show quite a big transformation... The existing linoleum floor was not great (and that's an understatement!) Even after so much scrubbing, that floor was never going to look clean! So we used this Trafficmaster Peel and Stick Flooring to go right over the existing flooring. One box was only $45 to cover our entire bathroom!

The Trafficmaster Peel and Stick Flooring is fairly easy to install! Just simply cut the planks to the right size, peel off the backing, and stick to the existing floor! No need for glue, nails, or anything extra! Plus, this is a great, temporary option for renters!

After we finished the flooring, I focused on making this tiny bathroom feel less cluttered. I knew this giant white medicine cabinet needed to go! I swapped it out for these two faux wood shelves from Amazon for only $20. I opted for these thin, open shelves in order to make this space feel bigger!

The After

I'm so happy with how this project came out! Our bathroom is now clean, refreshed, and it feels uniquely ours! All of this work was done for around $75, and all the changes made are

apartment-friendly! Next project: painting the vanity mirror white!

And don't forget to save this pin for later!
