With many of us being forced to stay home and work remotely, I'm sharing some tips for creating a clean, inspiring, and productive home office!

Get Rid of the Clutter
You won't be able to focus on anything important if your work area is a cluttered mess. Start off by clearing a designated office space, even if it is just one end of your dining table. Find a place for all of your items needed to work and make sure they're put away at the end of each day. It's always easy to keep things organized when everything has a place!

Find Comfortable Seating
One in four Americans sits for eight or more hours a day. If you're sitting for that long at your home office, being comfortable is key for productivity. Find a chair with good back support, a soft cushion, and armrests that fall at a comfortable position for your height.

Add Plenty of Greenery & Natural Light
Test out your "green thumb"! Bringing plants into your work area will not only help add visual interest, but it will also help filter the air. The office below is simple in color, but the added greenery helps give life and color to the space. Dracaena, Spider Plants, Philodendron Greens, and Peace Lilies are all great options.

Get Creative With Storage
Storage for your home office doesn't have to be boring! This credenza pictured below is a perfect example of how to think outside the box with multi-functional furniture. Find pieces that can hide your paperwork, while still looking like intentional within the space.

Get Up, Get Out & Keep Moving!
Remember to take time throughout the day to get up, stretch, and go outside. Often we can get too focused on our work and, without even noticing, you've spent six hours sitting in the same position! If possible, look to find a place outside to work for one day. A change of scenery is important, and don't forget to prioritize your wellbeing.
