Welcome back everyone, new and old friends! If you came over from the One Room Challenge Website, I'm so happy you're here for the final reveal of our design challenge! I hope you explore around a little and get to know me! I'm so excited to be a part of ORC 2020. This was my first time joining this amazing community of designers and I can't wait to see everyone's final designs!

The Final Reveal

Before you see the reveal, check out my Week One post to see what I was starting with! These past six weeks have gone by so quickly, but I'm so happy that I joined the One Room Challenge and the progress that I made on my bedroom! See the reveal for yourself...

The Bed

After changing the layout of my bedroom and flipping the dresser with my bed, I knew I had to create a focal point above the bed. It's the first thing you see when you walk into the room! I wanted something unique, and luckily I found these amazing antique window frames on Facebook Marketplace for only $15! With the new bedding and adding extra pillows, I created a brighter, more comfortable space!

The Dressers

Before, our dressers were just drop off areas for our clutter. With the addition of some baskets and organizers, I was able to create more distinct zones for all of our stuff! I found this amazing piece of framed artwork from Home Goods to place over my dresser. It's a painting of an old swimsuit with the Massachusetts islands written on the bodice. With new and unique pieces like this artwork, I created a brighter space that I enjoy spending time in!

Shop My Favorites

I pulled together a very bright and calming palette to design my dream bedroom! As a renter, I had a unique opportunity to pull off my ORC without making any permanent changes, and I was able to accomplish that. What do you guys think?

I'm so happy that I was able to share my progress over these past six weeks! Make sure you follow ORC and BHG on instagram, and all the other participants here on the ORC website to see everyone's final reveals!
